NOTES FROM GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING, sunday september 2nd:
the meeting was productive and we are definitely in action mode.

community board: please bring flyers from other spaces back to SAS when you go to them! we want to help cross-promote for friends who book at local places like new vox gallery, soft machine gallery, alternative gallery, mother's, sportsman's cafe, shards -as well as diy radical community spaces in other towns.

regular classes & get togethers
- bike class starting up again for fall thanks to C.A.T./ BBC - the bicycle co-op located mere blocks away from us (!!) feat. frank pavlick on the wrench - first class coming up, date tba
- diy fashion/ clothes altering group on thursday nights, coming up, date tba

september 7th - first friday - dance party at yr welcome
september 16th - sunday - 2nd gen. assembly & vegan potluck
rescheduled screening of EARTHLINGS - date tba
oct 14th - sunday - clothing swap
oct 20th - saturday - halloween show
nov 25th - black sunday craft fair (1 year anniversary of SAS craft fairs!!)

at this next assembly we will be checking in to see the progress of everything we dreamed up. it's a deadline for us to stay on track and follow through. (we will probably continue them on a monthly basis)

..it's also a VEGAN POTLUCK!
SAS will provide: plates, cups, napkins, utensils. as well as a big salad, some leafy greens, water. there will also be coffee and some treats for dessert (more always welcome). bring whatever you want to share, don't forget serving utensils!
